OC Community Resources - Approve issuance of $2,000,000 grant to Abound Food Care, Inc. from Orange County’s allocation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for food and water storage equipment to aid in the event of a disaster or emergency; approve issuance of $100,000 grant to Abound Food Care, Inc. from First District allocation of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding for purchase and support of blast freezers and related equipment; make related findings per Government Code Section 26227; authorize County Executive Officer or designees to receive and approve related emergency preparedness plan; and authorize OC Community Resources Director or designee to negotiate and execute subrecipient agreements $2,100,000, term ending 6/30/23 - All Districts

Chairman Chaffee - Approve use of amount not to exceed $9,500,000 from Fourth District allocation of district discretionary funding for programs that support non-profit organizations aiding veterans and residents experiencing or at risk of homelessness in Fourth District; provide grant monies to local governments, including school districts, and/or non-profits for development of programs providing healthcare, workforce development, education, childcare grants, infrastructure projects, public safety equipment, gun buyback program, and meal gap programs for individuals experiencing food insecurity and arts-related programs; make related findings per Government Code Section 26227; and direct County Executive Officer or designee to negotiate and enter into agreements as necessary
